                                    The Graying of the World

            Do you know the percentage of the elderly people in the world? Global aging is one of the most serious issues in the world right now. Now, people are increasing way too fast in the past years around the world. Studies have been made in the United States about aged people who are increasing 800,000 individual by the month. Global aging has its own way to say that the world is being too old and people are increasing in an enormous way.

            First of all, there are a lot of people who lives until 75 and older. being old is a challenge in our lifetime now. Even the birth rate is plummeting because of the aging over the world. Living until 75 could cost the government a lot of money to pay for the elder people to stay healthy and live a good life. For example, the government will pay for the old person for his Medicare and give the old people social security to live his life with his money.

            Second of all, paying the payroll taxes is very expensive for the young people. Every single young people have to pay the payroll taxes, which is some money you have to pay for the government. When the elder person get retired his young son should pay for him and that is very hard on the son because he have to pay payroll and take care of his father. The government should cancel the payroll taxes to allow the son to pay for is father and do not lose all his money. For example, if I had a dad and I do not have to pay any taxes I will pay for him anything he want because I do not have to worry about the money of the taxes. If they do that no one will face any fiscal issues.

            Third of all, dramatic decline in the fertility rates has many causes. Dramatic decline could cause woman gain economic opportunity and productive control. Also, the children will offer little or no economic rewards to parents. All that caused by the dramatic decline.

            All in all, there are many solutions for the elder people to get a good life and a healthy life too. Graying in the world is a very big issue, which no one can handle. The percent of aging is increasing by years. In my opinion, I think the graying in the world will keep escalating by the years.

                                                Veterans Vs Yers

            Do you know that they are four generations in the world? In several years there are many generations came in this life. Every generation has it own way. The four generations are the Veterans, Baby boomers, Xers and Yers. Veterans and Yers are the most important generation because it is the first and last generation. Veterans and Yers have many differences in core value, education and dealing with money.

            First of all, Veterans and Yers have many differences in core value. The core values of the Veterans are that they discipline which means that they do everything you want from them or anything they suppose to do in time not late and they respect authority and respect the time. For example, when you ask them to be on time for the work they will be on time. On the other hand, the Yers core value are they extreme fun and they enjoy their life. For example, when you ask the Yers to go out for dinner they will reply yes immediately without thinking because they love to have fun all the time. and even they have confident which make them can talk with everyone and make anything without being shy. They have a lot of differences in life style between them and that caused of the generations that came between them.

          

                Second of all, Veterans and Yers have changes in education. The Vetrans education is not the normal, which means that they do not care about the education because even when they do not have a degree from a university they will get a job very easily and even a good job too. Because on that time they were not much people want to work. While the education of the Yers is great expense and you have to pay a lot of money to get educated. The Yers are programmed on a nonstop schedule. For example, they always go to dancing lessons or music lessons and even they do not know a world without computers. Although In the Veterans life it was a very difficult life because they did not have anything simple in their life. For example, they do not have cars or planes easily to own and even the technology was very hard to get that days. Many things have changes over the years even the generations.

            Third of all, they have a lot of differences in dealing with money. The Veterans can control their money and the way they spend it and if they have the coincidence to keep this money and do not spend it they will do it. They have the realization of paying in cash is better. And they fight all the challenges to keep their money with them. They see the money from the optimism side of helping them to build their life. Different from the Yers in dealing with money because when they earn the money they think the money is scarcity and we have to spend all of it. Also, they love to spend immediately when they earn. They are different because the Veterans lived in a life where you can not buy anything easily and you have to work hard to get the money. Nothing stays the same everything will change.

            All in all, many generations came and go and the way they change is very stunning even every generation has it own life style. Technology has changed us a lot and made our life much easier. The way of thinking is changing over the generations. Every generation has it own act and it different from the last generation. There are a lot of changes and differences between these two generations the Veterans and the Yers in core value, education and dealing with money because of the differences in life time they lived.

                                        Genetically Modified (GM) Foods Good or Bad

            Have you ever tried fake rice? Food is very important for the human being especially the rice because it has protein. Because of the starvation many scientists tried to invent something could help the poor people that is the "Golden Rice". Today, there are a lot of companies who produce the golden rice. The golden rice was made from a flower and it has vitamin A and Iron. There are two kinds of people some of them are for and the others are against.

First of all, there are many scientists who did not like golden rice idea and they are against GM Crops. Scientists worry about the possible bad effect for the environment and releasing organism that could be harmful. Because it is not natural and it has many chemical substance which can damage the human body. Related to the environment, fear GM Crops might cross-pollinate other crops, produce both the pesticide chemical and the plants need to resistant to them. Vitamin X does not exist in the Philippines and that could cause hair and skin problems. The scientists think that it ruins the human body.

            On the other hand, a lot of scientists were with the idea of growing the golden rice for these following reasons. According to Ingo Potrykus the creator of GM Crops he said, “that it is way to improve health of poor people in the world”. The GM Crops makes and sells crops for profit. GM Crops found it a way to fight starvation. Florence Wambugn said, “Crops could provide desperately needed food with less labor". GM developed papayas that helped Hawaiian. GM crops could feed the poor people and the third world countries. The golden rice has many benefits according to the scientists.

            In summary, there are good reasons both for and against the idea of growing GM Crops and helping the people who do not have food. In my opinion, GM Crops is a bad idea because the human being body cannot handle something unnatural, harmful and poison. GM Crops will success in the future because of the factories that they are building now and because of the third world countries. The GM properties are escalating.

            

                                                             Spring Break

           

What did you do in your spring break? Traveling is a very good idea to do

in your spring break. There are a lot of activities you can do too like playing

football, go to the cinema and go out for dinner with your friends. I traveled in

the spring break to Las Vegas.

            First of all, I had so much fun in Las Vegas. We went there for two days. I

went there with my nine friends. There were a lot of things to do there. We went to some different

hotels and we saw a lot of casinos there. We rode the roller coaster. We saw an amazing shows in the

street and some crazy people doing weird things like a magician who was playing with his hands. We

enjoyed it very much and we want to do this trip again. It was a very awesome trip and one of my best

trips in my life.

            Second of all, I did not have fun in this spring break because I had to stay in tempe for five days

 and do all my homework. I had to change my room to another because I was not comfortable in my

last room. because I had a bad roommate which made me very sad in my own room. And he was a

very dirty person too.

            Third of all, my spring break was one of my best vacations this year. I’m glad that I could travel

 to another city. I’m very happy now and I can go back to my classes with a happy face and be good in

 all my classes. And because i traveled and changed my room to one more comfortable that will make

me feel more ready to start my classes Spring break is a very good vacation to refresh your body.

            Finally, I had so much fun in my spring break especially with my friends. Except the two points

 that I mentioned. 

My name is Faisal Albarrak. My name means the difference between good and bad. I love my name. I was

born in Saudi Arabia, exactly in Dammam City. Which is a very nice city in the western province. I was born

on May 7 1992.


I have done many mistakes in my life. Two years ago, I have made a bad decision by choosing the wrong

college and that made me feel very guilty because I wasted one year of my education career. And that made

me very bad in my life.


 My biggest accomplishment I did that I came to USA. I wish that i took this step one year before, that

would be a very good decision to make in my life. And i did another accomplishment that I took the best

player award in my high school which made me very popular in school. For example, students from around

school came and congrated me for this award and it was a gold medal. I was so happy that day.
